Sweet Vermouth is a sweetened fortified wine that is aromatized with botanicals. We use Mt. Defiance Apple Brandy to extract flavors from herbs we grow ourselves and spices from around the world. The flavored brandy is blended with our barrel-aged brandy and Vidal Blanc wine from 50 West Vineyards in Middleburg, Virginia. Finally it is sweetened with caramel syrup and local honey to produce a spirit that is nimble and balanced on the palate. The result is delicious whether chilled, on the rocks, or in classic cocktails like the Manhattan.
